Daniel Berv
ARTIST STATEMENT Music and art have always been an integral part of his life. Daniel's father was a virtuoso, classical musician who performed with world famous orchestras. His mother was an accomplished oil painter. Daniel was born and raised in New York. During his life in New York, he was able to hear some of the world's finest musicians, and also view the work of many world renown artists. While attending New York University Daniel played drums professionally with several bands, and dabbled in abstract ink drawings. Daniel is a self taught artist. His work is best described as an outpouring of his inner soul, driven by emotion, moods, and a strong sense of musical rhythms. His passion for warm, vibrant colors is expressed in the many geometric shapes and textures he uses in his paintings. In addition, his paintings allow for no boundaries; thus, they can be interpreted differently by each person. He continually experiments with new techniques. His love for the outdoors, especially with flowers adds an entirely different approach to his art. In all, Daniel creates a joyful and inspiring journey.
