Butterflies, butterflies; I love these gentle creatures. Spring 2006, Mark Lunning, an outstanding printmaker in Denver, invited me to participate in his “Bugs” printmaking show. This particular butterfly series was inspiring to create because my ideas were always shifting how I can print another beautiful yet unique butterfly. The butterflies are numbers to mark their individual difference. I pulled 60 butterflies, 52 sold, some originals are still in my artist collection. I treasure this butterfly series, so I created a new greeting card series available July, 2012.
