A particular variety of Joshua Tree can only be found in the Antelope Valley and are quickly disappearing due to human encroachment and pollution. Unknown to most, the Joshua Tree is the largest variety of orchid found in the world. Since they are technically a plant and not a tree, they don’t have tree rings. Dating their age in impossible, though some speculate that larger specimens could predate Christ.
