The Murray Smelting Plants was in high gear during the gold and silver rush of the 1800 and 1900s. Their base was in Murray Utah but opened a annex to the company in Denver to aid with smelting cost that was being mined in Colorado. I found a high vantage point so that I could capture the old smelting plant in contrast to the modern condos in the background.
