Artist Statement
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
In the early 1980’s, I plunged into fine art after a successful career in commercial artwork. The various art methods that I have since used included oil painting, print making, charcoal, collage and then water color. In doing water color, I found a certain amount of freedom in my sub-conscious leanings and henceforth my love for non objective art took wing. The water color work began as fun, but ended with whole series of work that I wanted to share. In my methodology, I found it advantageous for me to lay the work aside for awhile and then look at it again; often, many surprises appeared that I had not noticed while the work was in progress
