About the ArtistRobert was born and raised in Southern Colorado. He attended high school in Pueblo. He returned to the San Luis Valley where he earned a Bachelor Of Arts Degree and a Master's Degree in Education from Adams State College.
He moved to Denver where he taught in the Five Star Adams County School District for thirty-three years. After retiring he turned his full attention to his art. he currently showcases his work in Denver at the Chicano Humanities & Arts Council (CHAC) located at 772 Santa Fe Avenue, Denver, CO. He also has shown his work at various galleries in the Denver Metro area.
Robert's interest in art ranges from painting bold contemporary abstract pieces to creating Native American representational paintings. Though not Native American, Robert has a keen interest in portraying a proud and illustrious people. His favorite medium in acrylics which he applies most often to canvas. He also enjoys using water colors in his varied works.
Robert's Native American paintings and his contemporary art can be found in businesses and private collections throughout the United States.
